Festival Editor Elle is a faerie. Not a Tinker Bell from Peter Pan type of fairy, but a real kickass faerie of Fae. She grew up as the daughter of the royal educator, living within the castle but never a part of it. So Elle ran away. She ran from the castle, from the forest and into the city. So ran so far that not even her father could find her anymore. Even in the human world, she wanted to help; Elle became an assassin for hire. She had no traceable DNA and she had no human weapons. No human can find her if she didn’t want to be found.

You’ll find Festival Editor Elle tweeting on twitter @honeyelle, pinning at Pinterest and blogging at lnkproductions.org. She can be contacted via email elle [at] writersteaparty [dot] com.

Festival Editor Elle’s non-fiction (aka real) bio would say that she has been involved in the writing community for years. She began in NaNoWriMo in Brisbane, Australia. She then moved to Sydney, worked at Penguin Books and heading the Sydney NaNoWriMo group, before moving again to Canberra for a job in content creation (plus a lot of other things). Currently, she is writing a children’s series of novels, a YA transmedia novel and a personal blog.

Geek Connoisseur Zja is the prettiest girl with the turquoise hair. She was once trapped in a tower with no doors and a solidary window so far from the ground, certain death was assured if she ever tried to leave through it. Geek Connoisseur Zja’s hair did not grow as Rapunzel’s did. So she began to read. And read and read. Geek Connoisseur Zja fell in love with the romance, so when her knight swooped in and saved her (belatedly; he first toppled the tower and had to pull her out of the rubble), it didn’t matter his crimson-and-orange hair mismatched hers. Zja blogs from Book Bites, emails from zja [at] writersteaparty [dot] com, tweets from @obsidiantears83 and has multiple tumblr accounts (and one more).

Communications Overlord Wade wears a cape. This is the first thing you need to know. The second thing you need to know, the Communications Overlord never, ever takes off his cape. If he did, he would forget all his training and begin falling victim to ordinary evil lord blunders such as: “Number 17, when I employ people as advisors, I will occasionally listen to their advice.” The overlord needs no such advice with his killer sword and pen always at the ready. He has overcome do-gooders such as that pesky teenage wizard, whatshisname, and that angel, whatshername. It does not matter in the end; the overlord is remembered while those he has slain become text in history. The overlord can be contacted via wade [at] writersteaparty [dot] com, or found lurking on twitter @staticsan and near his blog, Just Add Story.

Sel, the Master of Phrase, lives in a different time and a different place. No one knows what her childhood entailed, so no one can tell if it influenced what she is now. What she is now is an assassin for the underworld. Her world is filled with magic and mythical creatures and feudal societies. But everyone needs an assassin. It always helps when you have special abilities of your own: invisibility, super-speed, telekinesis. Of course, these powers are just the beginning; the Master of Phrase lives a quiet life, in a tiny cottage with veggie gardens, leaving only to fulfil a job. In the cyber world, she can be found on twitter @seldear or contacted via email sel [at] writersteaparty [dot] com.

Anime Architect Mel(zor) was born under the sign of Aries nearly two decades ago, and grew into a strong and vivacious girl. Courageous and brilliant, Melzor was determined to change the world at no older than twelve years of age. She slayed her first dragon at thirteen, and learnt that she had a taste, and a talent, for swordplay and magic. At fifteen she became a full-fledged Wizard, and now she spends her spare time ridding the world of evil – that is, when she’s not sewing up a storm or perfecting the art of Zombie-slaying. She lives with her two familiars – a python named Gertrude, and a baby unicorn by the name of Pete. But really, she can be found on twitter @autumns_reign or contacted via email melzor [at] writersteaparty [dot] com.

Cyber Writer Andrew began life as both a human and a robot. Skip a couple of decades, and now the futuristic cyborg is the most famous blogger on all the planets. Envied by all, Cyber Writer types so fast that he is on display at the inter-planet circus. Nevertheless, he pens the Great Universal Novel. A true advocate for cyborg rights, Cyber Writer became the first Universal President by a landslide and when his human side died, his robot half kept doing what it knew best—writing. Cyber Writer Andrew can be contacted via email andrew [at] writersteaparty [dot] com, via twitter @aussiemoose, or via his blog, SparklyPrettyBriiiight.
